We continue with Poustra in the new year. We couldn't start the collection dedicated to the stories of legendary Tatra mountaineers in any other way than with the Ganku Gallery.
With its height of 280 meters, a vertical and overhanging wall at the top, it is considered one of the most difficult Tatra walls.
The name of Ján Ďurana, an important Slovak mountaineer of the 1960s, is most associated with it. "Cleaner", as he was nicknamed, had 280 ascents in the High Tatras to his credit. Of these, several significant ones are located on the northern wall of the Ganku Gallery.
In 1966, he received the title of Master of Sports of the Czechoslovak Republic for his extraordinary mountaineering achievements.

As is our good practice, we donate 4 euros from the sale of each Poustra to a non-profit organization that we admire. So far, we have collected more than 19,000 euros for OZ We are the forest, OZ Nosičský dom, Club Slovak Tourists, LZ VLK and OZ Pre Dolina.
This time we will reward the climbing association JAMES . Their mission is the development of mountaineering and the protection of natural values in the areas where mountaineering is carried out.

Spomienky, ktoré visia na stene a pomáhajú
Slovensko má nádhernú prírodu, no stačí sa prejsť po horách a naskytne sa ti aj smutný pohľad – chýbajúce lesy, bezohľadná ťažba, kalamity. Práve tieto veci nás inšpirovali k vytvoreniu Poustrov. Plagátov, ktoré pomáhajú. Z každého predaného kusu sme venovali 5 € na pomoc organizáciam, ktoré chránia našu prírodu.
To najlepšie zo zabudnutej sieťotlače
Poustre vyrábame na veľkých sieťotlačových strojoch, ktoré si ešte pamätajú éru Československa. Objavili sme ich pri náhodnej návšteve tlačiarne a vrátili im nový život. Každý Poustr je tak nielen dizajnovým originálom, ale aj oslavou poctivého remesla.
