Responsibility

• We print in Slovakia and Czechia. No air freight. Our warehouse sits next to the printer in Námestovo, so finished diaries do not travel for nothing.
• We do not shrink-wrap diaries one by one.
• We ship in recycled cardboard and in boxes our suppliers sent us goods in.
• For trips and small transfers we use BlaBlaCar, not our own car.
• We print to pre-orders. Leftovers do not end up in the bin but in our outlet or in schools.

• Order more things at once. One parcel instead of three.
• Choose a pickup point or locker instead of home delivery. The courier does not drive out for a single parcel.
• Buy only what you will really use. The smallest footprint belongs to the diary that never had to be made.

• Every year we calculate our footprint and publish it here, even if it is not good. By 31 March.
• We print to pre-orders. At most 10 % of an edition unsold, and nothing destroyed.
• Documented paper and energy. We want proof of paper origin (FSC, PEFC) and electricity from all our printers. From the 2028 edition all our paper is documented.
• Below 1 kg CO₂e per item by 2028. Fewer leftovers, growth without growing overhead, green electricity at the printer in Námestovo.

With this plan we want to support the global goal of limiting warming to 1.5 °C. We cut emissions where we can influence them. We do not count offsets as reductions.
